This rare Glendale High School yearbook includes four photographs of young junior class Vice-President Marion Morriontwo of which are signed in black ink. The future John Wayne is shown in full football gear on page 159 and with the rest of the Junior Class executive council on page 121with both images signed “Marion Morrison”. He is also shown with the Drama Club stage crew on page 75. Morrison is mentioned in several spots in his capacities as Vice President and Junior Representative in the cabinet of the school government. This is a must-have for a Wayne collector! The interior pages are fine with other signaturesnotesand errant pen marks. The book as a whole exhibits some handling wear with some separation and paper loss to the cover.
